Club tournaments: how they work and how to sign up

Short answer: every upcoming tournament is listed on the tournaments page — pick yours, leave your name and phone number, and the front desk will call you back to confirm your spot. Here's how it all works.

Why join, even if you started recently

A tournament is the fastest way to grow as a player. A match with a real score teaches what practice can't: serving under pressure, thinking tactically and closing out tight endings. Best of all, you leave with several opponents at your level — no more searching for a partner.

The formats

The format is always in the tournament description:

• Singles — the classic: you against your opponent.
• Doubles — you play in a pair. Pairs are often drawn on the spot, so feel free to come alone.
• Round robin — everyone plays everyone: several matches guaranteed, nobody goes home after one loss.
• Knockout draw — like the big tournaments: lose and you're out, but the drama builds to the final.

We do our best to keep matches even: a tournament is either announced for a specific level, or the draw is built so games stay competitive.

How to sign up

1. Open the tournaments page — date, time and description for each one.
2. Tap "Sign up" and leave your name and phone number.
3. The front desk calls you back to confirm and answer questions — entry fee, format, what to bring.

If you see "registration unavailable" instead of the form, the reason is right there: spots may be gone, or registration hasn't opened yet. Check back later or message us — spots do free up.

What the day looks like

Arrive 20–30 minutes early to warm up and check the match schedule. Then you play through the draw; between matches you can rest and watch the other games (a pleasure of its own). The day ends with prizes and a group photo.

What to bring

The same as for a regular game: sportswear, clay-court shoes, water, a towel. Bring your racket if you have one; if not, tell the front desk — we'll set you up with a club racket. Tournament balls are on us.
